Learn to teach your dog basic good dog manners in a more distraction-free environment than group classes afford. Manners learned will include positions (sit, down, and stand), coming when called, walking on a loose leash, stay, wait at doors, and leave it (take your mouth/nose off of whatever it's on). We also deal with any minor behavior problems you may be experiencing (jumping, digging, barking, counter surfing, house training).
We offer a series of private lessons (5 lessons that work out to at least 6 hours of training) covering all the basics. The first lesson of the series is held at your home, the next three are held here at “the dog ranch", the final lesson is at a location of your choosing. The private lesson series can also be held entirely at your home for an additional fee.
Private lessons can begin most anytime. Margaret has the most schedule flexibility on weekdays, but evening and weekend times can be arranged. Individual lessons and/or behavior consultations are also available on an as needed/wanted basis here at “the dog ranch" in the Oak Hill area.
In-home consultations (excluding aggression) are available for an additional fee for locations within the Austin Metropolitan area. Please contact us for availability and rates for consultations outside the Austin Metropolitan area.
