DIRECTIONS:

From Mopac:

South on Mopac to Slaughter Lane. Turn right (go west) on Slaughter until it dead ends into RR 1826. Turn left (go south) on RR 1826 past Lewis Mountain and Zyle Road. Just past Zyle Road you approach the intersection with SH 45 where there is a traffic light. You will see Black Sheep Ranch on the right with a row of mailboxes by the road. Immediately before the traffic light by those mailboxes is a gravel road with a subtle green sign that says McMeans Trail. Turn right onto that gravel road (not onto the paved drive) before you go through the traffic light/intersection.

McMeans Trail goes straight for about 1/3 of a mile, then curves to the right. You’ll see a “Blind curve” traffic sign. Turn in the first gate on your right before the road straightens out againFollow the drive down to the pens on your left. Park off the drive in the open area by the metal shed on your right.

From Highway 290:
